What Is EFT ?

Emotional Freedom Technique

EFT is a tapping technique similar to acupressure or acupuncture without the needles. This energy therapy is a remarkable healing modality based on these same principles that have been around for thousands of years. It is used to treat physical and emotional ailments. EFT is based on the premise that all negative emotions are caused by a blockage in the energy system. A person's energy can become stuck as it moves along a series of lines in the body called meridians. Tapping these meridians along with voice affirmations works to clear the blocks restoring the mind and body's balance. EFT works. I have witnessed the results in myself and my clients. A person will select a problem causing the distress and name the feeling or emotion ( sadness, anger, anxiety, pain, cravings, etc.) Then they are asked to summon up that feeling and focus on where it manifests. The goal is to significantly diminish the negative feelings reducing or eradicating the distress completely. There are several methods that are used. After a session  clients receive materials explaining the process so that they can do it at home. EFT is non evasive, rapid acting and can be self administered.
